Important Notice for Pet Travel

Due to the CDC's new guidelines on pet travel, we have updated our protocol for issuing rabies vaccines and certificates. Please take note of the changes below and plan appointments accordingly:

  1. Patients even 1 day past due on rabies vaccinations will need to restart their series with a 1-year rabies vaccine. You may renew this vaccine in the same year with a 3-year vaccine. Please note that our feline friends will always be given a 1-year vaccine.
  2. For puppies and kittens getting their first rabies vaccine and who will be traveling, a microchip must be placed before receiving their vaccination.
  3. We do not offer international health certificates. If you are in need of one, please call our clinic for options.

Please visit the CDC's website for more information on traveling with your pet.

We appreciate your continued trust in us as we strive to provide the best care for your pets. Please call our clinic with any questions regarding travel or rabies vaccines at (253) 475-5301.
